some details - it is only partially bent because only material I can get was 5 mm duraluminium, too tough to bend - on big angles it breaks.
I have no welder for aluminium, therefore no welding.
With softer and thinner material I could have bent separately 2 comple sides and 1 undertray, but because of this material I had to make it bolted together.
I am not too bothered about how it looks, but it is tough.
To protect better between frame/engine and undertray I installed rubber door stops, so that guard does not touch anything and damped by rubber.

I simply do not have time to do it again and no material. I still have to fix scooter engine for my friend and start restoration of my CB750k2.
But. I will scan pattern that I made which can be folded into sump guard and I can post it to site.
I recommend to use something a bit thinner than I did, and true aluminium. I bought that material as occasion, very cheap, but 3-4 mm aluminium is enough for that. With a bit of patience and camping stove (to heat it) you can fold 2 sides and one undertray and bolt it together, you can even come to my place and use my tools and my plooibank etc. (manual bender, same like roof workers use). I just too tired - this material is not good to work with, it breaks easily and to bend some parts I had to use bender + my body wait + all my muscles. Otherwise design would be much simpler, and I have that design ready with drawings. With right material it is 4-5 evenings work.

Would be great if you could scan this. Next year we get a CNC grinder at my work so I(my colleage :D ) can grind the pattern into a plate. Hopefully we also invest in some bending tools.

I do not know yet of I am allowed to do this for more people then me myself and I. I will inform the Bigbrothers if it is.

That's next thing to make.... :) now I have something to attach it to, so I guess I will weld it from 2 mm inox or something like it.
Another visit to BRICO/GAMMA/HUBO coming

There is some small mods I did to fixation points.
1. Drilled rear fixation points to 8.5 mm, removed welded-on nuts, made insert from flat piece of steel and treaded M8 hole in it, so that rear bolts are M8 and go through that metal fixation places and bolt into inserts that just placed inside.
2. Drilled front points to M6, removed welded-on nuts, made "bridge number 1" insert that goes behind "ears" and has M6 treaded in it, then another "bridge number 2" bolts to it from outside and 2 M6 front fixation bolts go trough "bidge2", "ears" and then bolt into "bridge2"

Hi Bluesman,

Has there already been some space in your very busy agenda to scann the pattern ?

small update. I scanned pattern for sump guard and toolbox, but I realized that I need to also put all sizes onto scan, because printout will not guarantee correct 1:1 scale.
Working on it now.
