Back from Norway

Hey guys, I just came back - we did about 5000 km trip Belgium-Germany-Denmark (just quick crossing, 1100 km each way) and then rest - real riding in Norway (no offroad, just REALLY bad roads). I was with my wife as passenger and 3 koffers of luggage. All went good, DR did very well, but....during the tour seems my DR started to eat oil a lot. Not sure why - overload or because of first day I had to filter through 20 km standing still blocked traffic on german autobahn (some big accident with truck) and motor was hot...really hot. Too hot.
Anyway, it may be just valve seals or may be new piston/rings time. Engine now have 86000 km. No loss of power thou, no smoke
I just do not know where oil goes... I do not think it is piston/rings, more like valve seals. Will neet to measure compression to see. So far for 5000 km DR ate 2 liters of oil but not really proper oil, just regular semi-syntethic auto oil 10W40 from fuel stations.
And right before trip it almost did not eat oil at all. Good oil. Castrol RS4.

I will come to DR meeting anyway....if worst will come to worst I will take 2 liter of oil with me and will start to disassemble motor right next day

2 liters is not that much on 5000km for a 1 cilinder whit 86k on the clock, if you run it higer refs say up the 6000rpm... and i think you did that a lot
