Hi guys,
can anybody out there give me some guidance, i'm buying my first DR Big next Tuesday and would like to hear about anything which you think i should be looking for to make sure i get a decent machine.

first look at the exhaust , started rusting before it was sold for the first time .
but the real importend thing is to listen to the engine the camshaft is sometimes worn out at 45000 km
there are cases known of bigs that get a bad driveshaft bearing at 70000 km
and sometimes the front brake pistons get stuck
with the early newer types '91-'93 the fueltank can be leaking ( from '94 there is an added support rod )
everything else is like any other motorcycle
