heeft er iemand ervaring met Tireballs (www.tireballs.com)?
ik ben namelijk aan een nieuw setje Bib mousse toe,
en vroeg me af of die "ballen" een beter alternatief vormen.

Die ballen lijken me niet slecht, aangezien ze waarschijnlijk makkelijker te monteren zijn (behalve de laatste) én ze bij grote klappen een beetje kunnen draaien en hun wrijving wat kwijt kunnen.

Gaan je banden niet draaien op de velg bij hard remmen? Het geheel zo natuurlijk kunnen gaan werken als één grote kogellager!

Voor op de snelweg zouden ze wel eens warmer kunnen worden dat een orginele bib, vraag dat eens aan de fabrikant?

Voor het voorwiel zouden ze wel eens minder geschikt kunnen zijn, aangezien 'tussen' de ballen het spul dunner is en dus ook minder klappen kan opvangen. Daarom vermoedelijk minder geschikt in een rotsachtige omgeving.

Maar ja, wat weet ik er eigenlijk van; ik heb nog nooit op bib gereden Ik ben wel altijd opzoek naar alternatieve oplossingen om geen lekke band te rijden.

als je een gripster gebruikt zou het geheel nooit mogen schuiven

ik zou voornamelijk willen weten hoe lang die dingen meegaan in het "echte leven" (en dus niet hetgene dat de folder vermeldt)
want de investering is niet gering: 310 euro per wiel

Ik ben er zeker van dat Gery met zijn KTM nooit op de snelweg zal rijden.

Ja ja, besmet door het Dual Sporter virus he, dan probeer je je aanhanger zo min mogelijk te gebruiken.

Vraag maar eens aan de jongens die regelmatig op Marokko rijden; je ontkomt dan niet aan asfalt rijden voor de verbindingswegen.

De Teneré's vliegen dan om je heen met 130 km/u. Probeer maar eens mee te doen met die ballen en hoop maar dat het geen stuiterballen worden
