Dirtgirl from downunder coming to Netherlands at EOY

Hi all,
Sorry for my English posting, but my Dutch isn't too good, although I've got a Dutch mommy who taught me some Dutch. So, I prefer English, if you don't mind. But I do read Dutch better than I speak your funny gutteral language (no pun intended).
It feels like I was born on a little PW as I am riding bikes since age 5 and I live in the "dirt road paradise", also known as Australia, as we have pretty many of them. Although I am used to riding a dirt bike in extreme high temperatures, I am planning to take a sabbatical by the end of November and come to the Netherlands for 10-12 months. I know it will be winter over there, but once in my life, I would love to see real snow and experience a white X-mas.
Henceforth, my plan is to visit a friend in Oene (did I spell that correct?) and relax a bit, while expanding my horizon, meeting new friends and having fun riding dirt bikes (besides reading Tarot cards, one of my biggest passions in life) as often and as much as I can.
q1: I was wondering whether there are some individuals or groups of nice people in or around Oene, which I can join for some offroad experience in extreme low temps. (Talking 'bout a challenge, eh? hihi).
q2: Can you please help me out and give me pointers to a few clubs / groups / individuals, including their contact data, web site, credentials etc.?
q3: Are there any competitions during the period of Dec 2003 up to Oct. 2004, that I might be allowed to participate in, being a foreigner? Where can I find more info on Dutch competitions and their regulations, pls?
q4: Is there a place close to Oene, where I can practice during the week or in the w/ends?
Although I've got a busy job right now (too busy), I'll try to look here a few times a week. So, please don't expect an instant response on any reply.
I don't have a bike over there (of course), but my Dutch friend told me she'll arrange a Honda XR-600R for me through a friend of hers.
q5: Now, will I be able to ride on that kinda bike during your guys' winter? In other words: do you think it won't let me down, when it's cold? (yes, I admit: I'm pretty scared for the low temp, but I am looking forward to go the edge and beyond... hihihi).
Thank you,
Desirée
